Why you should not eat more meat

This theme will continue until no more meat is eaten in the extent and under which circumstances, as is customary. About the diseases and the mass slaughter of animals for food we serve has written extensively in recent years. This article provides the reader a different approach on this issue.

Meat is food wastage
Eating meat has more adverse consequences than we think. It is not just about our personal well-being or welfare of the animals. Eating meat has far-reaching consequences for life as a whole and for the environment. These are not just left-wing slogans. We are accustomed to eat meat, we are so educated and know no better than meat on your plate and hear that it is healthy too. And besides, most people find tasty meat. Until the news reports appear that our idea of eating meat is not quite right. Ok, but a bit less meat per week.

So we thought until recently (and still think) most people. It is quite something to reveal your flesh disappear from your menu. It’s deep in our diet. That is dragged reluctantly to the animals we take for granted. And occasionally something goes wrong, too. At least it seems, because most people continue to eat meat. While awareness is growing and after each meat scandal decisions more and more people eating less meat or to switch to organic meat. The growing number of vegetarians and vegans. But today’s meat production and trade continues to cause problems. Because before the piece of meat on your plate is located, has a long way. How wasteful it is clear from the following figures:

■ people worldwide annually performs 735 billion pounds of grain to total livestock. Transported in a freight would amount to 12.3 million freight wagons to be loaded. That train would be six times the equator span.
■ To supply every Dutch person has at home and abroad 1.20 hectares of land in use, while only 0.2 hectares per world agricultural land available.
■ In the Netherlands, approximately 1.3 million hectares used for the production of grass and corn to cattle.
■ Netherlands uses both its own ground just as much ground in developing countries like Thailand (cassava), Malaysia, Brazil (soy) and Argentina for the production of fodder.
■ For the compound in other countries imported 5.4 million hectares in use.
■ The raw materials for pig and chicken for approximately 75% from abroad met. Approximately one third of them come from third world countries, where most of the population do not have much to eat.
■ The production and consumption of meat is the main contribution (18%) to global warming (greenhouse effect).
■ If all the Dutch would choose 3 days a week not to eat meat, would be the amount of greenhouse gases in our country where as many as 3 million reduction of the Dutch road vehicles would be removed.
■ The conversion of vegetable protein in animal will also much nutrients are lost. 4 pounds with vegetable protein (feed) you produce an average of only 1 kilo of animal protein!
■ Average cost to produce one kilo of meat (products) 14.7 times more energy than producing one kilogram plant foods.
■ To produce a kilo of veal have 100 times as much energy as to produce a kilo of potatoes.
■ A normal field of grass “produces” about 330 pounds of meat. The same piece of land can produce 40,000 kilos of potatoes.
■ In 1994 the Netherlands imported 40% of its grain consumption to cattle, that is enough for 44 loaves per year per Dutchman.
■ In addition, costs to produce one pound of meat approximately 11,250 liters of water.
■ There is less water to a vegetarian or vegan (a non-meat, eat eggs or dairy) for a year providing food, then it takes one month for food for a carnivore to produce.
■ The water consumed for Dutch beef consumption, one third of the world for a year in its drinking water needs.
■ On average, a Dutchman eats 88 pounds of meat per year. In addition, he drinks in one year also another 45 liters skimmed milk and eats 178 eggs.
■ All in all, save the 800,000 Dutch who do not eat meat every year the lives of some 6 million animals.
■ In his life, save someone who does not eat meat about 6 to 7 cattle, 45 pigs and several hundred chickens.
■ For 1 kilo of meat is about 5 pounds vegetable protein. Thus is an enormous amount of food wasted.

Meat production is bad for the environment
That producing meat is not as good for the environment is certainly not new. And there are already several steps, but not nearly enough as shown.
In a report commissioned by the Ministries of Environment and Agriculture was made, clearly shows that eating meat causes high CO 2 and that if we instead of meat eating plant products, CO 2 emissions by as much four to five megatons per year decreases.

■ Eating a pound of meat is just as bad for the environment as a drive of 50 km.
■ Beef damages the environment more than chicken. And switching to cheese’s useless, because even relatively bad for the environment.
■ The largest source of acid precipitation that seriously affects forests and heathland are livestock (61%) and traffic (18%).
■ In 1997 the Dutch livestock produced 77.093 million kilos of manure. Poured over the city of Amsterdam would be a 25 cm layer of stinking slurry yield.
■ With our livestock manure produced in 1997 140 million pounds of ammonia (NH3), a pollutant that contributes significantly to acid rain. With that amount you would 1.45 billion bottles of ammonia (used in the painting, etc.) can produce.

A spiritual approach
Whoever occupies himself with true spirituality respects nature and all living things. This means that one also concerned about the welfare of animals. That does not mean everyone who is on the spiritual path, vegetarian or vegan. People who find it difficult to leave just meat, go eat a lot more aware and often does that, that we gradually switch to less meat consumption and / or organic meat. As a higher consciousness is reached and they become increasingly aware of all influences in the divine creation, it becomes easier to leave meat or is it at one point even to stand still for animals to eat.

Saint Germain is an Ascended Masters and in the book: Meeting with Saint Germain (part 2) of Godfre Ray King, he goes into the subject of eating meat and why we better leave.

Saint Germain said inter alia:
The big disadvantage lies in the eating of meat that the meat of the animal is the repository of the fears that it undergoes when it is slain. The animal has a body and feel the vibration of fear that is felt just before and at the time of death affects the flesh, and this negativity is included in the emotional body of man who eats it.

Eating meat also brings forth a certain substance in the brains deposited and dulls the brain and thus ensures that finer impulses from the Divine (the I AM Presence) unable to enroll.

The knowledge that one must eat meat to be strong is disgusting and totally untrue, because the elephant, one of the strongest creatures on earth, eat only plants.

The idea that serums for vaccinations, manufactured or animal health and perfection can generate or protect against a disease in a pure child’s body (or an adult), is another, conscious activity generated by the dark forces in this world . It’s bad for the health and break the resistance within the breed, so that the negative forces of a free game and therefore the ideals of humanity to be nullified. Without knowing the medical world as tools for destruction under the guise of science.
There are several things that a substance in the brains behind and should be removed first before the energy of the I AM Presence “can flow freely through the personal consciousness. In order of importance, these products:

■ Drugs
■ Alcohol
■ Meat
■ Tobacco
■ excess sugar
■ salt
■ strong coffee
