Oriental duck recipe for the barbecue
In the summer we see lots of barbecue. Therefore here is a recipe for Oriental Duck on the barbecue.
Nowadays you can prepare almost everything on the grill, but if you’re looking for some inspiration on what you might have the recipe for Oriental duck. This fact make a meal consisting of rice noodles with duck breast salad oriental style. The recipe is for four people and requires little cooking time.
• 4 duck breasts
• 250 grams noodles
• 1 mango
• 1 cucumber
• 3 green onions, chopped
• 50 grams of peanuts
• 1 tablespoon Thai fish sauce
• 6 tablespoons chili sauce
• 4 tablespoons orange marmalade
• 2 tablespoons Chinese five-spice powder
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Start with a lattice pattern cutting the fat from the duck breasts, but be careful not to cut into the flesh. Put them in a bowl next to each other so that later you can pour the marinade over it. For this mix the orange marinade, Chinese five-spice powder, sesame oil and balsamic vinegar together in a bowl. This sauce grease up on both sides of the duck breasts, which you then about one hour in the fridge to marinate.
In the meantime you can make the noodles salad, which you first cook the noodles according to package instructions. Grid than the peanuts in a frying pan, this you do not need oil, until golden brown. When the noodles finished you can drain and Thai fish sauce and chilli sauce, stir. Then you peel the mango and cut up the flesh into long strips. This is done with the spring onions and cucumber. Then add these ingredients to the noodles and stir them together here. Then lay the duck breasts with the fat down on the barbecue. Cover with a lid and let the meat around a quarter bins. Take the lid of the barbecue and let the duck breasts on the grill a few minutes lying. Then let them rest for five minutes on a shelf or table in some aluminum foil. You can then cut the meat into slices and serve with the noodles salad.
