The American perfumer Kelly Jones dropped in the making of her new fragrance collection inspired by famous wines such as Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot.
With its Wine Notes Collections Jones wants the two special sensory worlds of wine and perfume closer together. This website reported Refinery29.
She came to the idea during a wine tasting sommelier told her that her perfume affect the taste of wine. Jones was intrigued by the combination of her perfume and the notes of the wine they tasted at that time.
The perfumer went to work with five kinds of wine and created fragrances containing the undertones of these wines. It resulted in perfumes with scents of honeydew, rhubarb and roasted oak.
The Kelly & Jones Wine Notes Collections consists of five perfumes that are inspired by Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay.
