Neo nomadic winter look 2010/2011
Exotic prints, fake fur, contrasting volumes and combinations of raw and refined materials. One of the most striking winter looks, the ‘neo-nomadic look. Like you all over the world and you’ve been through many, many different cultures have inspired. An innovative look that nothing can go wrong. You can literally everything combined. Exotic prints
The basis for the – what we call it – neo-nomadic look are hot exotic prints. Sometimes it builds on animal prints, some prints with colors that we see on cold highlands in the golden winter sun remember. Combine different prints together, but make sure there is a line of color in it.
Fur
To the neo-nomadic look and a force to provide winter accent you work with (fake) fur. Wear a fake fur vest over a dress with exotic print. For parkas with faux fur marketing. Or wear a fur scarf.
Hot item: The finely woven pants with fantasy
One of the most striking garments neo-nomadic style is finely woven or knitted pants with imagination. Wear it with sturdy boots and – depending on your mood – with a romantic blouse or shirt with a nail. A thick knitted cardigan with sturdy cables or a parka with fur to make the look completely.
Bulky knit
The exotic prints (often in thin fabrics) perfectly combine with knit accessories, preferably with large cables or with a ‘handmade’ look. Play with contrasts between different textures.
Playing with volumes
Another distinctive element to this look is the contrast between different volumes. Wear oversize faux fur coats and vests afkledende slim pants or skirts. And play with different layers.
