During the fashion week for men for summer 2011 we noticed how many models there are no tattoos. It seems that the number tattooed models on the catwalks has increased significantly. And we are not talking about small tattoos as the classic anchor or a pierced heart. Several models showed off (except the clothing collections of the designers) bodies are decorated with works of art. (Photo: Model on the catwalk for Vivienne Westwood Summer 2011)
Male models with tattoos: Miguel Iglesias and Keno Weidner, Josh Beech
One of the most famous tattooed models, the Spanish Miguel Iglesias. The left shoulder, upper arm and the back of this sensual model are covered with huge tattoos here and there a red flower. Another notable appearance is Keno Weidner.
This model has a bat on his abdomen and also somewhat disturbing tattoos on his chest and arm. Also Josh Beech British supermodel who is also lead singer of rock band Snish is permissible in many artistic decorations boast skin.

But the German model (for us a new face) backstage at Frankie Morello spanned the crown. The finest tattoos are back, neck, arms and chest (where ornate letters ‘Hope’ was to read) cover, attracted the attention of photographers and journalists. Also the “This is ART” (with R in image) over his eyebrows, you can not go.
Belhamel model Freja Beha Erichsen
The female models are increasingly tattoos, but usually smaller in size and in discreet places. Is well known that the hanger top model Chanel Iman in her neck (and thus loose its not visible). The rebellious Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen has rigorously addressed. We have her at first sight a dozen tattoos count (but they are more firmly!) To include the text “This Too Shall Pass,” “Serendipity is Life ‘, a cross on her right earlobe, and a revolver on her left arm . Freja must be love tattoos and maybe she has not finished it. The model would have agreed with her modeling she may have put as many tattoos as she wants.
The fashion show itself is like inspired by tattoos. Frequently they choose their designs to decorate with mannequins. In summer 2010 Jean Paul Gaultier showed the bodies and faces of his models even their own name in decorative letters make.
Tattoo trends: kawaii-style, retro, pin up, tattoo lettering styles
The trends are not only from Hollywood and the international catwalks. On the contrary. Tattoo trends are often ‘the street’ and come from all over the world.
For instance, Japan’s kawaii style – to the Japanese word “kawaii” that as “cute” or “cute” might translate – will blow over. Cupcakejes, lovely dolls and sugary images as tattoos are fully (this trend explains why we are on the catwalk by Frankie Morello to our surprise a male model with endearing puppets on his thigh cut).
There are also retro and vintage images currently in fashion. This trend goes hand in hand with the revival of the pin-up style.
Furthermore, the tattoo lettering style (slogans, mottos or fanciful wisdom in italics), such as Freja Beha Erichsen and Pink, it is still good.
Tattoo?
A tattoo is for life and therefore something to be thinking about. Before you leave put a tattoo, you could start each day at the spot where you want the tattoo design you have in your head with make-up sign. Now let’s see if you eventually want to do yet.
Do you regret a tattoo you can him with a special laser treatment to remove. It is good to know that not every skin reacts here as well and some colors are harder to remove than others.
