The red lips trend we saw amongst others, Gucci, Miu Miu and Diane von Furstenberg. The red lips were extra special because on the inside lip of a lighter shade of lipstick was applied. This lips appear fuller and piece. The lipstick colors for this winter are almost all very dark, they walk away from bright red to deep dark purple.

In many makeup collections we saw it, blue eyeshadow is definitely a trend for this winter. In a solid blue color popping, or combined with a metallic green tinge. Although the bright blue eye shadow is getting used to, it is with every eye color. This strong trend we saw amongst others, Nars and Zac Posen.
Metallic
Makeup trends winter 2011 2012 – Chanel Metallic makeup
The metallic makeup trends for winter 2011-2012 is a very wearable trend. We saw the metallic colors in Badgley Mischka and Oscar de la Renta. Also in the Chanel models wearing metallic eye shadow, which we already saw in the Illusions d’Ombres Chanel makeup collection. The metallic trend is borne in shades of gold and silver to green and purple.
Eyeliner
Makeup trends winter 2011 2012 – Louis Vuitton and Anna Sui Eyeliner
The eyeliner trend for this winter was surprising. The eyeliner was not only used to draw a wing, but also angular lines above the eyelids to create. This resulted in, among others, Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui and Louis Vuitton for a bold look. The color of the eyeliner? Black, black, gray and a little more black.
