The versatile genius and Jean Paul Gaultier choose the Argentine Pampas as inspiration for his latest collection for Maison Hermes (the designer is leaving the fashion house). And that’s clear from the very beginning of the show. In the background is a big fence built with horses and is constantly referred to the Pampas. The colors are warm, ocher, orange, the lines are clean, crisp and incredibly elegant.
The boots are chocolate colored leather, and all other accessories such as hats and narrow belts are carefully executed in smooth leather. Like the whip in hand-held and perhaps too strict an image with sado elegant touch to break.
