Footwear Trends Winter 2012
Striking prints and colors we wear next season at our feet. The influence of the 60 and 70 is clearly visible in shoe trends for winter 2012.
The shoe trends for winter 2012 is clearly the influence of the 60′s and 70 forwards. We see red, yellow, purple and green shoes, but shoes with glitter. Make a choice between male and female, or walking with a fierce animal print in the New Year.
Snake Print
The leopard print is a little bit there, but slowly getting the upper hand snakeskin. This print is not subtle, it comes back in different bright colors such as blue, yellow and purple. Both pumps and boots have an animal appearance, making sure all the attention goes to your legs and feet. We see the snake not only in the shoes, but also in the accessories. The models of Chloe, Prada and Giorgio Armani walked away with this shoe trends for winter 2012.
Male
The androgynous trend we saw in the fashion, of course, comes back into the shoes. Male loafers and slippers are all this winter. They are tough and edgy but still feminine at times by a thick heel. Also, women often have a tough loaferdetail pumps. We saw this trend include at Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander Wang and Yves Saint Laurent.
Coarse chop
The rough cut, we see good back in the wedge at Burberry prorsum. The past year was the wedge heel has a real trend, but this winter we see some comfortable shoes with heels. The rough cut is also another way back, as in blokhak as Calvin Klein and heel with a curved shape at Miu Miu. The trend in heels is not as thin as possible, we go the thicker heels are increasingly seen.
Female
As a counterpart to the male trend, there is a very feminine shoe trends for winter 2012. The characteristics of this trend are thin high heels and pointy noses. Pumps with an ankle strap to give any outfit a feminine touch. This style comes in simple black and sexy, but also in feminine colors such as purple. We saw the female shoes include at Lanvin, Oscar de la Renta and Valentino.
To your ankles
One of the biggest trends this winter are the ankle boots and ankle pump. Many ankle boots have a piece of rubber bands used in the same color as the rest of the boot or just as a contrast. The ankle pumps we see many black like Stella McCartney, or a small detail, so they do not detract from violent fashions as the polka dot Marc Jacobs.
I particularly like the ankle boots and loafers with heels fine trends. Which shoe trends for winter 2012 do you like best?
