Last night was one of the nicest celeb galas of the year, With Ball 2012. On the red carpet celebs appeared in dozens of the most beautiful, striking and expensive dresses by top designers. Favorite of the night was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in a stunning maxi dress by Burberry British. About Rihanna (and especially her hair) we are less happy ..
Glitter
During the most gala of the year there is no dress code. Nevertheless, the celebs compete with each other to see who the hardest glitters. Scarlett Johansson draped in a princess style dress by Dolce & Gabbana Gisele Bundchen and sparkled the stars of heaven in a raven black dress (with fantastic split) Givenchy studded with dark rocks.
Side
Side was also one of the favorite themes among the celebs. Heidi Klum went for dark blue and translucent in a dress from Escada and Beyonce went over the top in a striking dress by Givenchy studded with glitter, lace and purple feathers. Wow!
Favorites
Topper of the evening was pretty face Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in a long, striped glitter dress by Burberry British. The model made her elegant look complete with a high bun, tough clutch and gold earrings. Renee Zellweger graced the carpet with the longest and most beautiful drag back. The actress wore a long black Pucci dress with low cut back and sheer sleeves Well done, Renee!
Even Victoria’s Secret model Karolina Kurkova stood out during the Met Ball in a high-necked dress with silver cap and cut back .. Or we glittery mermaid meets this cap designed by Rachel Zoe look like it we do not know, but the model certainly attracts attention. And our own Doutzen Kroes in a beautiful dress by Roland Mouret.
