Paris Fashion Week : Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2012 2013
Femme Fatale
It was the turn of McQueen’s creative director Sarah Burton to the public during Paris Fashion Week to entertain with a unique spring / summer collection. Burton focused on the spring collection is on the feminine silhouette. Small body, thin waist combined with the famous tight skirt.
All trademarks McQueen himself appears in the collection of Sarah to come back. After the Fall / Winter 2011 show, this presentation was another brilliant display of what the designer’s collaboration in those sixteen years has learned. May the angels be with him!
The show began with nude colored clothing with a sprinkling of gold and silver, but soon got into a mermaid theme. Pearl colors, dresses with a body shell and an increased waist with a line of ruffles. “If a jellyfish moves in the sea,” says the designer.
The line-up of her exquisite clothes, focus on the waist and intricate pleating, ruffles and frills, the label again a good collection of couture level.
The orange design, a favorite item of Burton.
